Quinta do Peru was the first golf course built in the Azeitão region between the castles of Sesimbra and Setubal, which is well known for its palaces, its wines and cheeses.|The course, with its many trees and wild flowers, offers a varied start.|The most difficult test on the course, hole 16, a Par 3 over 200 metres, where one needs to get over a lake to reach the green. Developed by David McLay-Kidd, the par-71 links-style Dunas Course was constructed with the highest sustainable norms, resulting in approximately 84 hectares of natural, sandy terrain that is expected to evoke parallels to some of the most renowned golf courses in the world, upon its summer 2023 debut. There will be a brand new clubhouse and golf academy built to complement the new Dunas Course. With Festuca grass-sown fairways, this course offers a formidable test of skill in a breathtaking backdrop.
