Belas Clube Campo
The Belas Clube de Campos, nested in the Carregueira mountains, is in perfect harmony with Charles Franzman master plan: the houses on the hills with view over the golf and the course in the valleys, protected from the wind. The course meanders in amongst the hillsides, affording splendid views of the Sintra hills and is divided into two well defined parts: one with low density residential surroundings and the other through an untouched natural environment.|There are two holes that are particularly notable for their beauty and their challenging qualities: the second hole, a par 5 called 'Augusta' was built in homage to the 13 th hole of the famous course where the US Masters tournament takes place; hole number 18, a memorable par 4 final hole, was christened the 'Big Hole' because of the second shot that players must take makes some 180 meters from the green, which is well protected by a fearsome lake.

Belas Clube de Campo is a fantastic "Championship Golf Course" with an exceptional layout and just improved greatly their facilities and golf course experience, by exchanging their front nine and back order of play since September 2020.
Renewed their buggy fleet completely, refurbished 74 bunkers, and also built buggy paths on all 18 holes.
Bela's golf course is a great value golf course with high-quality service and golf course conditions throughout the year. They present their price list divided into two main golf seasons, the Low Season in the Winter and Summer months and the High Season during the Spring and Autumn months.

Course is very difficult and the fairways are in very poor condition (maybe caused by the large amount of heavy rain that fell in the last 6 weeks). Green complexes are very undulating but challenging. Course could be very good but needs investment to improve the playing experience particularly the fairways

They should not allow people walking on the back nine. It slows everybody down. We had to wait every hole 10-15 minutes

Belas Clube Campo, space and greens are good, generally a bit dry, there is a lack of water, good driveways for buggies, the distance from hole to hole is sometimes very far, a challenge on foot

Excellent course layout, but conditions somewhat disappointing, however, greens were fine despite top dressing on day of our visit ?? We know it’s needed maintenance but obviously as guest we would like to be informed when booking tee time.

Really nice course, tree lined fairways, some tighter than others (!) with some challenging holes featuring strategically placed water and bunkers. The greens and some fairways have suffered during the hot summer months, but not to the detriment of the round.

Very good experience.
Course was very good quality.
Slight confusion on the location as there is also a Belas Country Club - but other than that was very enjoyable.
